Permanent Vice Chairman of Hanoi meets Daewoo E&C’s President (14:06 23/06/2022)


HNP - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Le Hong Son on June 22 received delegation from Deawoo E&C led by the company’s president Jung Won Ju.  



At the meeting, Son welcomed the visit of the delegation to Hanoi, noting the company’s long-standing partnership with Vietnam, along with its high quality services and products which have left a positive impression among Vietnamese people.

Son added the company’s presence in Hanoi also contributed to the socio-economic  improvements of the city, along with high living standards and creating jobs for locals.

Son expected the company to further expand operation in Hanoi, especially of high quality projects that meet the city’s vision for development.

Overview of the meeting.

For its part, the city is willing to create favorable conditions for projects from Daewoo, including those of Daewoo E&C, in the city,  for mutual benefits.

Daewoo E&C President Jung Won Ju said the visit is to look for investment opportunities in Hanoi and  accelerate ongoing projects.

Jung also hoped press agencies from the two countries to strengthen cooperation and cover  events marking the 30th anniversary of Vietnam-South Korea relations, including economic forums of businesses of the two countries.

Hanoi’s Vice Chairman Son said the city as the political-administrative-economic hub plays a key role for the development of the capital  area. In this regard, the Ring-road No.4, once completed, would form a new economic corridor in the northern area and be the focal point for investment into the city.

Son noted the city is committed to creating favorable conditions for the company and those from South Korea, especially in fields of culture, education, economy and trade.
