Party Deputy Secretary Nguyen Thi Tuyen checks COVID-19 prevention work in Thanh Tri District (09:44 27/07/2021)
Tuyen directly examined the implementation of tasks at the Thanh Tri Command for COVID-19 prevention and control which was established to realize the municipal government’s Directive No. 17/CT-UBND dated July 23, 2021.
She also inspected the observance of pandemic prevention and control regulations at the Hanoi College of Industrial Economics, a concentrated isolation area in the city.
Tuyen visited the Quang market and the Thanh Liet-Dau Bridge checkpoint in Thanh Liet District to examine the pandemic prevention work there.
Giving a brief report to the delegation, Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen Tien Cuong said that as of 12am on July 57, Thanh Tri confirmed 12 COVID-19 infection cases, including seven detected in quarantine facilities. A total of 148 F1s and 158 F2 contacts are now under health monitoring.
According to him, the district asked communal level task forces to work around the clock, while maintaining operation of 59 COVID-19 checkpoints in communes and towns to prevent the spread of the virus. Strict punishments have been imposed on those violating pandemic prevention and control rules.
Tuyen recognized and praised the administration of Thanh Tri District for their effort in carrying out anti-pandemic measures under the city’s directive 17.
She lauded creative ways of the local authorities in rolling out counter-measures as guided by the municipal government.
Stressing the complicated evolution of the pandemic, the Party official requested the district to continue with strict implementation of the city's guiding documents against COVID-19.
She asked for stronger communication on pandemic-anti measures among local residents to raise public awareness about the COVID-19 efforts.
The district should seriously abide by pandemic prevention protocol to avoid cross infection in concentrated quarantine camps, she ordered.
Tuyen also required the district to promote role of COVID-19 community-based teams to tighten the management of people who returned from virus-hit localities, or those who taking self-isolation at home so as to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Now is the golden time to stamp out the COVID-19 pandemic, the official stressed, asking all local residents to stay at home and only go outside in necessary cases, maintain a distance of two meters in public places, and submit health declaration forms via website www.tokhaiyte.vn or Ncovi and Bluezone apps, among others.
