Thien Y waste-to-power plant set for operation in late May (08:03 15/05/2021)

HNP - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Trong Dong on May 13 checked the construction progress of the Thien Y waste-to-power plant in Soc Son district. 

At the meeting, representative of the project owner said as of present, the construction progress has met expectation and is ready for operation in late May. 
However, the major issue is to supply electricity for the plant so that it operates as designed. Meanwhile, the Soc Son district’s People’s Committee has been actively encouraging households to give up their land for construction of the electricity supply system, a number of them have not agreed with the compensation plan, causing difficulties for the construction.
At the site, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Nguyen Trong Dong requested all construction unit to speed up the site clearance process and handover of clear site for contractors. 
For the site clearance process, Dong requested all parties involved to exercise mechanism under the law and create the utmost conditions for people to settle. However, in case of those deliberately not cooperate, Soc Son authorities should deal with accordingly, said Dong.
