Hanoi confirms five new COVID-19 cases (20:59 20/10/2021)


HNP - The capital city of Hanoi confirmed five new COVID-19 infections from 6pm on October 17 to 6pm on October 18, according to the municipal Department of Health.


Of them, two infections were found in Ha Dong district, one each in Hoan Kiem, Thanh Tri and Dong Anh districts. 
 
Among the new infections, three are returnees  from COVID-19-hit regions. 
 
Since the fourth outbreak of COVID-19 that began on April 27, the capital city has logged a total 4,111 infections, including 1,606 found in the community.
 
Local people are required to strictly abide by the 5K message and countermeasures set by the Ministry of Health so as to soon put the pandemic under control. 
 
Those showing symptoms of cough, sore throat, high body temperature, fatigue, reduction or loss of taste are required to contact with the nearest medical facility for COVID-19 testing to timely deter community transmission.
 
People could give their feedback about the pandemic prevention work via hotline number 1022, mobile apps like Zalo, Bluezone.
