Paying a visit to a COVID-19 checkpoint at Quan Ganh bridge on Highway 1A, and others in Khanh Ha communes and Voi market, Tuan said that the enforcement forces have effectively implemented pandemic prevention and control measures.
He comforted the on-duty forces at the checkpoints, urging them to work hard to tightly control all entries.
Local authorities should tighten control of travel permits from 6am on September 8 to ensure strict implementation of social distancing measures, Tuan ordered, asking for more effort to speed up mass screenings in high risk areas.

Ha requested special attention to ensuring the supply of food and essential goods during the social distancing period.
The district needs to better manage concentrated quarantine facilities to avoid cross infections, Ha ordered.
Lauding the district’s effort in curbing the spread of the pandemic, Chairman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan asked local authorities to mobilize people to engage in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
He requested Thuong Tin to continue carrying out the city’s Resolution No.15 and other guiding documents on COVID-19 countermeasures.
