Hanoi confirms 16 new COVID-19 cases on October 24 (16:33 25/10/2021)


HNP - The capital city of Hanoi confirmed 16 new COVID-19 infections from 6pm on October 23 to 6pm on October 24, according to the municipal Department of Health.


Among the new infections, seven cases were detected in the community and nine in concentrated quarantine camps.
 
Five each were found in Quoc Oai and Hoan Kiem districts, two in Dong Da district  and one each in Gia Lam, Ha Dong, Nam Tu Liem districts and Son Tay town. 
 
Since April 29, Hanoi has documented 4,166 COVID-19 cases, including 1,615 found in the community.
 
Local people are required to strictly abide by the 5K message and countermeasures set by the Ministry of Health so as to soon put the pandemic under control. 
 
Those showing symptoms of cough, sore throat, high body temperature, fatigue, reduction or loss of taste are required to contact with the nearest medical facility for COVID-19 testing to timely deter community transmission.
 
People could give their feedback about the pandemic prevention work via hotline number 1022, mobile apps like Zalo, Bluezone.
