Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy emphasized that the annual event has drawn a large number of people in response to the call “All the people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho”.

The 46th Hanoi Moi Newspaper - Run for Peace is among activities to mark the 65th anniversary of the Capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2019) and the 20th anniversary of Hanoi’s recognition as “City for Peace”.
This year’s race attracted approximately 1,500 athletes, including amateur runners from schools, universities, enterprises and foreigners. Notably, 160 professional competitors from 23 teams throughout the countries also joined the event.
Do Quoc Luat and Pham Thi Hue were crowned winners of the 46th Hanoi Moi Newspaper – Run for Peace.
