Under the document, the schools’ staff, teachers and students must stay calm and play an exemplary role in carrying out anti-pandemic measures.
All schools should enhance the IT application in operation, limit face-to-face meetings and disinfect their campus, helping prevent the spread of the virus.
Officials and teachers in all schools must ask for permission of their leaders when traveling out of the city on holidays or on weekends. They are required to fill out health declaration forms on the Ministry of Health’s website tokhaiyte.vn or mobile applications such as NCOVI, Bluezone within 24 hours after returning to the city.
The department ordered ninth-grade pupils not to leave the city until they finish their high-school entrance examination which is expected to take place on June 10-11.
Similarly, twelfth graders are requested not to go out of the city until they finish the national high-school examination scheduled on July 7-8.
The move aims to protect health of students amid surge of local infection cases (4,034) in 34 cities and provinces since late last month.
The Department of Education and Training urged educational institutions and schools in the city to prepare the best conditions to ensure the two mentioned-above examinations run smoothly, and do their utmost for the safety of students during the exams.
