At the meeting, Chief of the Office of the Hanoi’s National Assembly Deputies Delegation and City Council Nguyen Ngoc Viet said, the meeting will be held in one day to discuss and decide on 8 topics, including adjusting and updating the 5-year medium-term public investment plan 2021-2025; adjusting the public investment plan in 2022, guiding the public investment plan in 2023; adjusting investment policies for projects using public investment capital; developing a project on decentralization and delegation of power and drafting a Resolution to replace Resolution No. 08/2016/NQ-HDND; stipulating the tuition fee rates for public preschool and general education institutions in Hanoi for the academic year of 2022-2023; one-time financial support delivery for doctors, nurses and health workers in Hanoi.
On this issue, Chairwoman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong said: The City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee is expected to review 3 contents on the Project on decentralization within the city’s apparatus; tuition fees and tuition support mechanisms; supporting medical staff, doctors and medical staff of Hanoi.
Huong also expected greater focus on the decentralization issue and also financial support for doctors and medical staffs to ensure effective implementation process afterward.
At the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh agreed on the contents submitted to the 9th session of the City Council. Thanh emphasized that the content of the meeting needs to be carefully prepared, and asked the departments and branches to uphold the sense of responsibility in ensuring quality in the preparation process.
Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized that the conference approved the topics to be discussed at the 9th session (thematic session) of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026, aimed at concretize the Regulation on coordination mechanism between 4 agencies that was signed in early 2022, In addition, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi agreed on 8 contents to be submitted at the meeting.
In order for the meeting to take place successfully and ensure quality in the process, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan asked the agencies to coordinate and prepare the contents on schedule. At the same time, it is proposed that the City People's Committee review all the planned contents for effective discussion at the 9th session. Regarding the contents subject to Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee City’s review, Tuan suggested the City People's Committee send documents soon to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
