The Hanoi’s mayor requested all units and departments to strictly comply with the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, while gearing up efforts in putting the COVID-19 under control.
For economic development, Anh expected greater efficiency in global integration to boost exports and attract high quality FDI; creating favorable business environment to attract investment; boosting the development of private sector and public investment; accelerating the disbursement of public funds and in ODA-financed projects; reviewing current supporting programs for people and businesses affected by the pandemic for greater efficiency.
For the COVID-19 fight, Anh expected local authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and preparing measures to deal with any emergency.
Hanoi remains steadfast in pursuing economic recovery by addressing issues during the first two months, aiming to achieve the highest growth target possible, stated Anh.
The Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee requested the Department of Transportation to cooperate with related agencies in taking the Hanoi’s urban railway project, section Cat Linh - Ha Dong into operation, while maintaining the efficiency in operation of freight forwarders to ensure smooth movement of goods and products after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Department of Culture and Sport would be actively working with related agencies in holding cultural and arts events in the walking street surrounding Hoan Kiem lake, adding all activities should be in line with anti-COVID-19 measures.
