Hanoi launches emulation campaign for successful organization of upcoming elections (21:54 07/03/2021)
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man also attended the meeting, along with leaders of Hanoi, including the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, among others.
In 2020, Hanoi launched many patriotic emulation campaigns to create the motivation for local agencies and the public in realizing socio-economic development in 2020.
The Covid-19 pandemic has been contained, leading to a gross regional domestic product growth of 3.98% in 2020, while the state budget revenue rose by 6.69% against the target set by the municipal People’s council at VND286.25 trillion.
In 2020, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh presented the title of “Good people, good deeds” at city-level to over 800 individuals.

In 2021, Vietnam is set to hold major political events, especially the election of deputies for the National Assembly and the People’s Council for the 2021-26 period, for which Huong expected more efforts in improving the efficiency of patriotic emulation campaign.
