Despite major difficulties in 2020, Hoang Mai district still maintained positive growth with state budget revenue exceeding the year’s estimate.
“These results are exceptional and have contributed to the overall growth of the city,” stated the Hanoi’s Party chief.
However, to ensure the district’s rapid and sustainable development, strong efforts from local authorities in socio-economic development, environmental protection and ensuring public order are required.
While the district continues to post a rapid urbanization rate, the infrastructure remains limited, fragmented and inconsistent.
Hue expected Hoang Mai district to set up specific plans to promote the development of the district until 2023, which is the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hoang Mai district.
The municipal Party chief urged the city to concentrate on major projects with high spillover effects, including the Gamuda (block B) residential area, Yen So park, Aeon shopping mall; among others.
“The city would continue to seek advices from ministries and government agencies for the approval of Red river zoning plan,” Hue added.
According to Hue, infrastructure projects, especially in transportation, are key for Hoang Mai district to continue its strong growth in the future. However, to speed up these construction projects, Hue urged the district to identify site clearance as a key process.
In the coming time, Hue requested the district to ensure utmost safety for the upcoming 13th national Party congress and a happy Tet holiday for all the people.
