Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong meets voters of districts Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung (10:15 24/06/2022)
At the meeting, voters expressed their delight at the positive results of the National Assembly’s third session, especially the Government’s efforts in striving for socio-economic development.

They called for the Government to continue taking measures to accelerate economic recovery, contain inflation and address rising petrol prices.
Voters also expressed confidence in the role of the Party chief and the Steering Committee on prevention and control of corruption and bribery in dealing with corruption cases including the Covid-19 kit scams by Viet A company, or manipulation acts in the stock and real estate markets.
Voter Pham Thi Hong Sim from Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh, welcomed the Party Central Committee’s decision in setting up provincial-level steering committee against corruption and bribery, expecting this would contribute to the overall anti-corruption drive.

Voter Nguyen Tran Quyen from O Cho Dua, Dong Da, expected strict punishment to those committing crimes to build trust among the public.
Voter Nguyen Duy Nhien from Ngoc Khanh, Ba Dinh, said despite recent irregularities in the health sector, its huge contribution to the success in fighting Covid-19 pandemic is evident.
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Duong Duc Tuan on behalf of the city’s leaders have addressed voters’ concern and recommendations that are under the city’s administration.
General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong said the NA’s third session has been a success and completed a huge work volume, including the ratification of five laws, 17 resolutions and giving opinion on six other draft laws, among others.

Trong called for people’s councils at all levels to continue serving as people’s representatives and working out favorable policies for the benefits of the people.
Regarding the fight against corruption, Trong said the entire political system stands firm in wiping out those committing crimes, with all disciplinary process following the procedures of the Party and the law.
Trong added the Central Party Committee would soon hold a conference discussing 10 years of efforts in anti-corruption, and then draw experience for the next phase.
