According to a report of Ba Dinh district, in realizing the guiding documents of the Central level and the municipal authorities, the district Election Committee has focused on completing all electoral preparations in accordance with the law, meeting the deadline.
So far, Ba Dinh has set up 132 electoral groups for 132 polling stations, and completed the listing of candidates to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for 2021-2026 tenure.
The district and wards have also finished publishing electoral rolls at polling stations.
In addition to strengthening communication on the elections on mass media, the district has attached great importance to decorate the polling stations with panels, posters, flags, banners and slogans to make sure that the election will be the festival of the entire people.
More effort has been made to map out plans to ensure social security and order, traffic safety and environmental protection.
Also, the local authorities have paid special to dealing with denunciations and complaints related to the elections.
In parallel with the election preparations, Ba Dinh district has placed the focus on strictly implementing measures against COVID-19.
Along with strong communication on COVID-19 prevention efforts, the district has timely traced and isolated those who were exposed to confirmed cases.
The task forces have enhanced inspection in apartment buildings, facilities with catering services, medical clinics and drugstores, while imposing tough fines for those who violate COVID-19 prevention rules.

Making conclusion at the session, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen praised the effort from Ba Dinh administration in preparing for the elections.
All preparations for the upcoming elections have been carried out in line with laws and in a in a democratic, transparent and public way, she stressed.
Regarding the COVID-19 prevention work, Tuyen lauded the local forces’ proactive and aggressive participation in contact-tracing and quarantine.
So far, the district has basically controlled the situation, she underlined.
Concerning major tasks in the coming time, the Party official asked the local authorities to work hard to ensure the best preparations for the elections and enhance COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
She asked for stronger communications about the election of deputies to the 15th NA and People’s Councils at all levels on mass media.
Tuyen requested the authorities of Ba Dinh District to continue reviewing the electoral rolls, especially voters living in inn areas, being under quarantine in army-run quarantine camps and hospitals, to ensure their voting rights.
Local authorities must keep an eye on settling denunciations and complaints related to the elections, she ordered.
Tuyen also asked for more attention to ensure absolute safety during the elections, and make detail scenarios to respond to the development of the pandemic.
Ba Dinh must steadfastly pursue the twin goals of fighting the pandemic and boosting economic development, she noted, ordering more communication activities to encourage local residents to strictly follow the Health Ministry’s 5K message.
