In Ung Hoa district, the delegation checked all preparations for the exams as well as plans to contain the COVID-19 pandemic at the Ung Hoa A High School and Tran Dang Ninh High School.
Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Phung Thi Hong Ha said that the preparatory work has not yet met the schedule, especially at the Ung Hoa A High School.
She asked the district authorities to focus on completing all preparations for the exams in line with regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
The district should strengthen communication campaign on COVID-19 prevention rules among officials, teachers, students and their parents so that they stay safe by taking precautions, Ha noted.
In Hoang Mai, the delegation checked rehearsal in preparation for the high-school entrance examination for the 2021-2022 school year at the Hoang Liet Second School. The venue has 18 rooms with 432 students.
According to Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee Tran Quy Thai, this year, Hoang Mai has a total of 3,096 students registering for the 10th-grade entrance exam. More than 2,200 others will take part in the national high school exam.
After paying working visit to contest venues, Vice Chairwoman Phung Thi Hong Ha highly spoke of the district’s effort in fighting the pandemic and preparing for the two exams.
Ha noted that relevant units should focus on double-checking all tasks relating to the exams as well as rolling out scenarios to respond to the different developments of the pandemic.
She also asked for the utmost effort to successfully host the exams amid the complicated situation of COVID-19 outbreaks.
