Vietnam to step up efforts against corruption (23:03 29/04/2021)


HNP - The Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs on April 28 held an online conference to discuss efforts against corruption and judicial reform. 



Taking part in the online conference from Hanoi were Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Chairwoman of the Hanoi’s Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Quang Duc and other senior officials. 
 
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs Vo Van Dung gave a detailed view on the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on internal affairs, efforts against corruption and judicial reform. 
 
As such, the efforts against corruption in the past term had achieved significant results and received positive response from the public. 
 
Regarding judicial reform, Dung noted there have been higher awareness among the authorities, Party members, public servants and people in the importance of judicial works, while the legal system have been perfected, basically reflecting  the vision of the Communist Party of Vietnam regarding judicial reform. 
 
Delegates at the conference also approved a draft action plan to realize the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, as well as major targets in the coming time. 
 
Chairman of the Hanoi’s Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Quang Duc said Hanoi is fully aware of the significance in the fight against corruption and judicial reform. 
 
Chairman of the Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac urged all-level Commissions for Internal Affairs to focus on  mapping out effective mechanism against corruption, along with greater efforts to prevent waste.
