City increases support for enterprises in Cau Giay IT Park (09:32 15/08/2014)


HNP - A working session was held on August 13 between Ha Noi Department of Information and Communications and Cau Giay District, focusing on the operation of Cau Giay Concentrated IT Park.

Based on small and handicraft industry cluster Cau Giay, the Cau Giay Concentrated IT Park was recognized by the Ministry of Information and Communications according to Decision 1060/QD-BTTTT dated August 28, 2013. After the recognition, the Department in cooperation with Cau Giay District took the first steps to support enterprises in the IT park, such as implementing information work to introduce and broadcast image of the park and firms, trade promotion activities, along with helping firms deal with their problems.

Infrastructure has been improved with different projects, such as construction of new buildings, improvement of drainage system in parking areas, underground lines and cables system. The District also is on the way to amend planning for the IT park to meet all standards of ground and land use area.

Speaking at the working session, Director of Department of Information and Communications Phan Lan Tu asked Cau Giay District to complete Management Board of Cau Giay Concentrated IT Park according to functions, regulations and targets stipulated in Decree 154, along with reviewing and approving the amended planning in the near future. Meanwhile, the district is responsible for keeping a close watch on operation and status of enterprises in the area for proper management policies.

The Department of Information and Communications in cooperation with related agencies will propose preferential policies for IT enterprises and submit them to the Municipal People’s Committee for approval.

On behalf of Cau Giay District, District People’s Committee Chairman Duong Cao Thanh confirmed that they will approve the amended planning within August, as well as urging investors to speed up construction progress and cooperating with other authorities to attract more investment in the IT park.
