At the meeting, Vice Director of Hanoi’s Department of Justice Nguyen Cong Anh said if elected, he would strive to maintain the close link with the people in the district, in turn proposing to the municipal People’s Council suitable mechanism to create favorable conditions for businesses and the people in realizing administrative procedures.
Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Council Phung Thi Hong Ha said she would propose measures to support the city’s socio-economic development, including that of Thanh Oai district, focusing on mechanism for rapid and sustainable growth; policies to promote hi-tech farming and economic restructuring.
“I would propose the city to allocate resources to localities evenly, while addressing pending issues towards the realization of promoting green and civilized urban area in Thanh Oai until 2028,” Ha said.
Chairman of the Thanh Oai district People’s Council Nguyen Nguyen Hung said he would actively contribute to the issuance of the body’s resolution to boost socio-economic development.
Candidate Tran Thi Phuong said she would focus on promoting craft village and boost infrastructure development along with environmental protection, in turn boosting tourism in the locality.
Candidate Nguyen Thi Vinh said her priority is to solve the environmental pollution as there remain 400 poor households and 1,000 near-poor households in the district.
