2020 was the final year in implementing resolutions of Party congresses at various levels for tenure 2015-2020, as such, the city’s Steering Committee has been directing local agencies in realizing the resolution No.09-NQ/TU dated February 27, 2012 on enhancing the Party building and civil organizations within private companies in Hanoi.
Over the years, the Steering Committee has been working out measures to address issues and concern of businesses, in turn enhancing the efficiency in operation of Party and civil organizations.
As of November 30, 2020, there were a total of 100 Party organizations in the city, exceeding 42.86% of the year’s plan, while 750 new members have been admitted to the Party ranks. Hanoi Federation of Labor established 423 new labor unions, 85.53% above the plan and recruited 29,793 new members.
Under the positive result of the resolution No.09, the city’s Steering Committee has proposed the extension of the resolution for the 2020-25 period.
Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong highlighted the efforts of related units in realizing resolution No.09-NQ/TU in 2020, saying the establishment of Party organizations within private companies is a challenging issue.
In the coming time, Phong requested more efforts needed to continue establishing Party organizations in the private sector, especially in foreign-invested companies.
According to Phong, there should be incentive policies for enterprises in Hanoi in developing Party organizations.
