The Prime Minister’s working group conducts administrative inspection in Hanoi People’s Committee (05:58 16/05/2019)
According to Head of the Home Affairs Tran Huy Sang, in oder to realize instruction of the Prime Minister on increasing administrative discipline among state agencies’ officers, Hanoi has issued a number of instruction documents, strengthened administrative discipline among officials of city’s agencies.
The city has increased communication and information work among officials and people in various ways. Since 2017, Hanoi inspection team have conducted unscheduled inspection in 79 agencies and bodies, and handled 7 cases according to instruction of the Hanoi People’s Committee and Party Committee. They also implemented survey and supervision, focusing on the officials’ sense of compliance with regulations and discipline, as well as implementation of the two Codes of Conduct.
Furthermore, Hanoi pays attention to increasing responsibility of leaders of the agencies and bodies. City’s authorities and People’s Committees of districts and towns submit weekly report; leaders of the agencies and bodies check performance to realize instruction and guiding documents of the Hanoi People’s Committees, Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Hanoi People’s Committees, and take responsibility for fulfilling their tasks.
Hanoi also concentrates on anti-corruption and prevention, detects and apples severe punishment for corruption offenses, and increases effort for administrative procedures. In 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, the city organized 341 training classes and workshops on corruption prevention and fighting for city’s staff.
