Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade will increasingly inspect the markets, roads from the northern border areas, and neighboring provinces to Ha Noi, airway, waterway and railway, warehouses, wharves, especially key localities so as to timely detect and handle smugglers, violators of production and trading of fake goods, poor quality goods and commercial fraud activities.
It is vital to monitor alcohol production and trading in order to thoroughly handle alcohol production and trading establishments in the area; effectively implement a pilot project to enhance the management of fresh fruit stores in the downtown districts of the city.
Similarly, the Police Department will ask specialized divisions, police forces of districts, towns to investigate leaders and lines, groups producing, trading, and transporting prohibited, smuggled and poor quality goods in key routes.
Additionally, the Department of Health is tasked to set up a plan on checking facilities producing, processing, importing, exporting, and trading functional foods, food additives, processing aids, bottled water, natural mineral water, etc; increasingly inspect establishments producing and trading medicines, clinics as well as alcohol production and trade facilities; take test samples for food safety standards in order to thoroughly prevent illegal alcohol production activities.
Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for making a plan on inspecting the quality of food safety, traceability; treating agricultural, forestry and fishery products which do not meet food safety standards; announcing facilities producing and trading products meeting food safety standards on mass media among local people.
