Hanoi imposes fines of over VND1.5 billion for breaking COVID-19 prevention rules (23:03 27/07/2021)


HNP - During the first three days of implementing Directive 17/CT-UBND in Hanoi, individuals and service establishments had been fined over VND1.5 billion for violating COVID-19 control measures.



According to the municipal police, the people were fined for failing to wear face masks or keep safe distance in pubic, or going out for unnecessary reasons.
 
Meanwhile, some facilities were   fined for continuing to operate despite a suspension on non-essential services during the social distancing period.
 
In the next days, the police will continue to work with relevant agencies to strengthen communication on COVID-19 countermeasures among local residents, while enhancing inspection and imposing hash punishment on violation cases.
