Hanoi People's Council Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan meets voters of Hoan Kiem district (19:19 23/11/2021)
At the meeting, the deputies briefed local voters on the city's socio-economic development in 2021, and socio-economic, national security and defense plans in 2022.
The voters expressed their delight at the city's achievements in 2021.
Despite various difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanoi has attained positive results in the city's socio-economic development.
Especially, the fight against COVID-19 has drawn the participation of the entire political system as well as the support of local people and businesses.
So far, Hanoi has basically put the pandemic under control and gradually, safely and flexibly adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic along with effective disease containment solutions.
The voters also raised their concerns on various issues related to social welfare, COVID-19 vaccination for children, waste treatment, PC-COVID app, traffic infrastructure projects, and land clearance.
On behalf of the deputies, Chairman of the municipal People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan acknowledged voters' opinions.
He informed that the council's upcoming session will discuss and adopt key solutions for the city's socio-economic development in 2021 and following years.
Especially, the municipal People Council will conduct a question and answer session on socio-economic situation, national security and defense and concerned issues, he stated.
Tuan also said that the municipal authorities have deployed the COVID-19 vaccination for children so that they could soon come back to school.
