Five units, organizations and businesses handed over their donations worth over VND1.6 billion in in cash and in kind including goods and medical supplies to the VFF’s municipal committee.
The contributors included Giantsun Power Electronics (Vietnam) Co.,Ltd., which gave VND150 million for COVID-19 containment efforts; NNT Vietnam Services - Tourism Company Ltd, with VND500 million; Medlatec Group Sservices & Trading Joint Stock Company, with 10,000 COVID-19 quick test kits, among others.
At the ceremony, the VFF’s Hanoi Committee transferred 10,000 quick test kits and 2,000,000 antigen rapid test (ART) kits to the Department of Health.
Speaking at the ceremony, Huong emphasized that, more than ever, solidarity should be promoted to arouse the consensus and determination from the people to join hands with the municipal authorities against the pandemic.
She expressed her sincere thanks to agencies, organizations, businesses and philanthropists for their support for the city’s fight, while pledging that her organization would delivery donations to frontline forces, including medical staff, police officers and army men.
