HNP - The Hanoi People’s Committee promulgated Decision No. 3952/QD-UBND on August 16 on the schedule for the academic year of 2021-2022 for pre-school, general and continuing education in the area.

HNP - The Hanoi People’s Committee issued Official Letter No. 187/PA-UBND on August 13 on planning to provide enough medical oxygen for a scenario in which the number of COVID-19 patients in the city reaches 40,000.

HNP - In an effort to soon stamp out the COVID-19 pandemic, on August 10, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued Plan No. 184/KH-UBND on rolling out mass testing for COVID-19 to deter community transmission.

Hanoi changes travel permit requirements during the social distancing period

HNP - The Hanoi People’s Committee on August 10 issued Official Letter No. 577/TB-UBND on carrying out the municipal authorities’ guidelines stated in Document No. 2562/UBND-KT signed on August 7.

Hanoi briefs on COVID-19 prevention and control

HNP - The authorities of Hanoi held a media briefing on the city’s COVID-19 prevention and control work on August 20, under the chair of Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong, Head of the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Bui Huyen Mai, and Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung.

HNP - The Hanoi Party Committee’s Standing Board had a working session with the Party Committee of the city’s Department of Public Security on August 18 to review its seven-month performance and map out major tasks for the time ahead.
