2020 Hanoi Support Industry Fair opens (20:25 29/10/2020)

HNP - Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade kicked off the 2020 Hanoi Support Industry Fair  (FBC Hanoi 2020) on October 28 at the Agricultural Exhibition Center (No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi).

This year’s edition takes place on October 28-29, attracting the participation of nearly 190 supporting industry enterprises and 20 buyers via online and on-site business meetings.
The event aims to help businesses access technologies which would improve their capacity in participating in global supply chains in manufacturing components and parts, including electrics - electronic components, components for assembling automobiles, motorcycles, motor vehicles, and manufacturing mechanical components.
It is expected to provide a chance for exhibitors, manufacturers and suppliers to seek business cooperation opportunities and establish partnership, as well as enhance their international economic integration ability.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Dam Tien Thang stressed that the development of support industry has significantly contributed to the work efficiency as well as product quality and price.
The reasonable development of supporting industries in the context of globalization would create competitive products, establish production networks with multiple supply layers, and create connection between Vietnamese businesses and multinational groups, and FDI enterprises, he added. 
Highlighting the significance of the event, Thanh expected that the 2020 FBC Hanoi would contribute to promoting the development of the support industry in Hanoi in particular and in Vietnam in general.
The FBC Hanoi, held since 2017, has created positive results to support industry companies. Concretely, it facilitated more than 3,000 transactions with an estimated transaction value of almost US$4.5 million in 2017, almost 4,000 transactions with an estimated transaction value of almost US$5 million in 2018.
