In attendance were Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Phung Thi Hong Ha, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy, Director of Department of Public Security Nguyen Hai Trung, and leaders of the city’s entities and Ung Hoa District.
At the meeting, local voters highly spoke of the great outcomes of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic that Hanoi has achieved under the leadership of the Party and State with the support of Hanoi people.
They expressed hope that in the next tenure, Hanoi would make decisions on the city’s rapid and sustainable development.
Voicing their concern at the meeting, the voters asked the municipal authorities to pay special attention to dealing with pressing issues, such as traffic congestion, water waste treatment in Day and Nhue rivers, and improvement of air quality, among others.

Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy acknowledged the voters’ opinions and explained issues under his competence.
He also assigned relevant departments and agencies to consider and soon settle the voters’ recommendations.
After listening to the voters’ aspirations, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated the Party organization, authorities and people of Ung Hoa District on their achievements over the past time.
Ung Hoa has so far had 24 communes meeting the criteria set for new-style rural areas. In the nine-month period, the district has effectively realized the tasks of fighting COVID-19, boosting socio-economic development, ensuring rural security and social welfare, and successfully holding the 24th Party congress.
According to the Secretary, Hanoi is preparing for the 17th Party Congress, while elaborating socio-economic development plan and medium-term public investment plan, and removing shortcomings and weaknesses.
Regarding the supply of safe water in the district, the Hanoi Party chief urged relevant agencies to speed up the process and put water supply projects into operation as soon as possible.
He asked the Party Board of the municipal People’s Committee in collaboration with the municipal Party Committee Office to make plans on dealing with the voters’ recommendations.
On the occasion of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue presented gifts to 50 needy students in the district.
