Addressing the event, Bui Ngoc Dung, Head of the Front Work Department of residential group No.3 reviewed the 92 years of glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the tradition of great unity of the Vietnamese nation. In the past years, residential group No.3 has effectively implemented emulation movements, campaigns; repel pandemic; take better care of the political, economic, cultural and social life in the area, actively contributing to the consolidation of the great national unity block from the grassroots level.
With the active role of the Party cell, the Front Working Committee, the spirit of solidarity and attachment of the people, the unity among households in the residential group No.3 is more and more sustainable; with growing number of people in participating in the implementation of movements such as "All people unite to build cultural life", "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities"; in the implementation of "Code of conduct in public places".
In 2022, 327/335 households in the residential group achieved the title of "Cultural family", reaching nearly 98%. It has also mobilized to support funds of over VND53 million VND, well implemented the principle of "Drink water, remember the source", has taken care of families with hardship; has provided regular support for 2 near-poor households in the area; timely supported 25 difficult households during the pandemic.
In particular, the Front Work Department has coordinated with branches and unions to raise awareness and mobilize officials, members, union members and people to get immunized with Covid-19 vaccine. Up to now, 100% of people in the residential group have been vaccinated with the 3rd dose of vaccine, over 93% of the people have been given the 4th dose. The residential group has also sprayed chemicals to kill mosquitoes to prevent dengue fever. To date, there have been no cases of dengue fever in the area.
At the festival, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung, leaders of the city agencies and Hoan Kiem district presented meaningful gifts to residential group No.3 and commended typical collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to building the residential community.
Expressing his joy at witnessing the atmosphere of the community's festival the residential group No.3, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung affirmed, this year's Great Unity Festival takes place in a very special context when Hanoi and the whole country have entered a new normal after more than 2 years of having to take many strong measures to control the Covid-19 pandemic.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung wished that households continue to promote the spirit of solidarity to overcome difficulties and challenges together and build a better life together, preserve and promote a long history of cultural and historical traditions; effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new countryside and civilized city" and "Build elegant - civilized Hanoi people".
Dung believes that Residential Group No. 3 will continue to have more excellent achievements, many typical individuals and families join hands, bring strength and wisdom to contribute to build a developed, civilized, and modern Hanoi.
