At the meeting, Chairman of SEIN I&D Group Kim Jung In thanked the city's leaders for the warm welcome and expressed his appreciation for the attention and support of the Hanoi government in recent years to South Korean businesses in general and SEIN I&D Vietnam in particular.
Kim proposed to the City a number of contents related to investment in the construction of the semiconductor manufacturing industry, which is one of the current strengths of South Korea. Referring to the master plan of the capital until 2030, with a vision to 2050, in which the development of the downtown is the core, surrounded by satellite and smart cities, Kim Jung In suggested that there is a huge potential market for semiconductors.
The Chairman of SEIN I&D Group also expressed his wish that Hanoi will support and facilitate policies to attract investment, provide and train high-quality workers, so that SEIN I&D Company can develop a microchip production complex in the city. In order to promote the development of the supporting industry, the Chairman of SEIN I&D Group also suggested that Hanoi continue to open, relax procedures, welcome startups from South Korea. Meanwhile, for its part, the Company is willing to make efforts to bring potential investors in the high-tech sector to Hanoi.
Appreciating the efforts and personal contributions of the chairman of SEIN I&D Vietnam Company in the field of investment in Hanoi, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh agreed and pledged to support the investment projects related to supporting technology and high technology of the Group in Vietnam, and at the same time wished the Company to further expand production and business activities for long-term and sustainable investment cooperation in Vietnam.
Chairman of the City People's Committee said that Hanoi is aiming to develop supporting industries, high technology and attract high-quality human resources, at the same time, affirming that it will create all favorable conditions for South Korean companies in particular and foreign enterprises in general.
Also at the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh directly answered some of the Company's recommendations and assigned relevant departments, departments and agencies to consider and settle, in accordance with the law.
