At the ceremony, participants reviewed the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union during the past 86 years. Promoting the gained achievements, the district Youth Union has enhanced education of politics, way of thinking, tradition, ideal, morality, lifestyle for youths; well implemented movements, such as: Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s words, etc; effectively deployed movements, accompanying with youths to start up their business; tightly cooperated with authorized sectors to take care, support youths to get loans, improve their skills, specialized knowledge, create favorable conditions to strengthen start-up movement in youths; focused on building, consolidating clean and powerful youth units in politics, thoughts, action to assume a pivotal role in attracting, launching movements in youths.

On the occasion, the district Youth Union also organized a Teenagers’ Festival in 2017. The festival has numerous significant activities, drawing the participation of officials, members of the Youth Union, teenagers and local people.

On the framework of the event, the Youth Union celebrates the 86th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; launches the Earth Hour 2017, presents 16 gifts worth nearly VND10 million to children in difficult circumstances in the area.
