At the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang, Regiment Commander of the Regiment 692 said that as the main unit of the Division and the Hanoi Capital Command, it was responsible for organizing training sessions and closely coordinating with local militia to protect key targets in the capital area.
With the spirit of solidarity, unity and high determination, in the past year, the Regiment has implemented and completed all tasks, said Thang.
In the coming time, the unit will focus on leading and strictly implementing the directives of the Commander of the Hanoi Capital High Command, the 301st Infantry Division on combat readiness and the preparation for the 2023 Lunar New Year. In which, the unit strictly maintained the mode of combat readiness, well prepared, and ready to be mobilized to handle situations in the area when ordered.
In addition, the Regiment organized the handover of soldiers discharged from military service in the army in 2023 back to their localities; well implemented the preparation and training of new soldiers in 2023. Regarding the organization of Tet celebration for the soldiers, the Regiment carried out fun activities to welcome the New Year, creating a joyful and excited atmosphere for soldiers; at the same time, taking care of cadres and soldiers according to regulations of the Ministry of National Defense.
Addressing New Year's greetings to officers and soldiers of Regiment 692, Infantry Division 301, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh praised and congratulated generations of officers and soldiers of the Regiment for their achievements over the years.
Emphasizing the importance of security and defense work, the task of protecting the Fatherland and the Capital amid new context, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh suggested the Party committee and commander Regiment 692 regularly grasps the security and order situation in the area, promptly advises the Hanoi Party committees and local authorities to have appropriate measures to protect the capital in all situations.
The regiment needs to strengthen education and raising awareness for officers and soldiers about the duty of being ready to fight during the Lunar New Year; take care of the material and spiritual life of cadres and soldiers during the Lunar New Year and well implement policy and mass mobilization work in the area.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh believes that, in promoting the glorious tradition and results achieved over the years, the officers and soldiers of Regiment 692 - 301st Infantry Division will try their best to train and improve, mastering technical means, performing well the task of training, maintaining discipline, building a regular and modern armed force, ready to fight and win in all situations.
