Addressing the event, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Le Quoc Phong said that ten outstanding young face awards is one of the highest honors of awards presented by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to outstanding individuals who have distinct contributions in their fields, making contributions to the country and society. Over the past 21 years, 220 young talents have been honored in various categories, including study, scientific research, creativity, business and management, security and order, defense, culture and art, sports and social activities.

Addressing the meeting, the PM Phuc highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of ten outstanding young faces in 2016.

He urged the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Fund for Vietnamese Young Talents to research and take action to nurture the young generations, outstanding faces, and business start-up youths.

The PM also requested ministries, agencies and localities, especially the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to create the most favorable conditions to the young talents to continue to develop and make greater contributions to the country.
