Speaking at the opening of the Hanoi Spring Festival 2023, Chairman of the City Journalists Association To Quang Phan emphasized that after two years of disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hanoi Spring Festival 2023 will continue to be organized with the participation of press agencies and their special editions for Tet.
This year, Hanoi Spring Festival 2023 has 18 exhibition booths of central and Hanoi press agencies.
On behalf of officials, reporters, and journalists, Chairman of the Hanoi Journalists Association To Quang Phan emphasized: "The country and the capital are entering the spring, and Vietnamese journalists and those in the capital are committed to further promoting the spirit of revolutionary journalism, contributing to the successful realization of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Resolution of the 17th City Party Committee.”
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee honored the authors and groups of authors whose works won the Ngo Tat To Press Award in 2022.
The Award entries reflected many themes in socio-political life, as many articles have encouraged cadres, party members and people to implement the Resolution of the Central Party and the city in emulation movements.
These articles, therefore, helped encourage the entire political system to realize the socio-economic development targets in 2022; honoring outstanding individuals and organizations in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, good people - good deeds; on the sovereignty of the country's borders and islands; protect the ideological foundation of the Party.
In 2022, the Organizing Committee of the Ngo Tat To Press Award in 2022 received 137 works, of which 119 were from printed and electronic newspapers, 18 radio - television works. The submissions to the 2022 Awards have met the requirements of the Organizing Committee in terms of content, form, number of works, number of publication and distribution. Through the preliminary and final round, the judges selected 43 best works to award the Ngo Tat To Press Award - Hanoi in 2022.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the Special Prize of Ngo Tat To Journalism Award - Hanoi in 2022 to author Quoc An, Hanoi Radio and Television Station with the television work "Waste is also a internal invaders"; 3 First prizes, 5 Second prizes, 9 Third prizes and 25 Consolation prizes for authors and groups of authors.
In 2022, the 28th anniversary of the Ngo Tat To Press Award was held and up to now, the Award has always kept its value and seen rising quality in press works; received the attention of Hanoi’s press agencies. Through the award, many reporters and journalists have the opportunity to show their professional skills, critical thinking, and at the same time, make many contributions to socio-economic development... The Ngo Tat To Press Prize is also the basis for the press agencies and the City Journalists Association to select excellent works to participate in the National Press Awards and other prestigious press awards.
