At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen presented a report on outstanding results in the Party building work of the Hanoi Party Committee, from the beginning of the 17th municipal Party Congress until now. Accordingly, as the largest Party Committee in the country, with 50 affiliated party committees, a total of nearly 470,000 members (accounting for nearly 9% of the total number of party members nationwide), the Hanoi Party Committee has paid great attention to directing and developing the Party Committee comprehensively; promulgating directives and resolutions in order to build, consolidate and improve the quality of grassroots party organizations; improving the quality of the party organizations' activities; renewing and improving the quality of assessment and classification of grassroots party organizations and party members in a substantive and timely manner.

Since indentifying the admission of Party members as an important and regular task in Party building work, over the years, the Hanoi Party Committee has always paid special attention to improving the quality of admitting new Party members. Along with that, the management of party members has been strengthened.

The City Party Committee issued Regulation 09-QD/TU, dated October 24, 2022 on a number of issues on the management of party members; to review, screen and promptly expel Party members who are no longer qualified to stay in the organization.

In particular, the Hanoi Party Committee focused on directing, implementing and reorganizing the apparatus and staff to ensure streamlined, effective and efficient operation; promulgating regulations to improve the quality of planning, training and retraining, rotation and appointment of cadres.

Sincerely thanking the sharing of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Xisay Ludetmounsone and the members of the delegation have engaged in-depth exchange and discussion of the experiences of the Hanoi Party Committee, targeting to build a clean and strong Party; developing the Party in enterprises outside the state sector; in the construction of cadres at all levels and the coordination of branches in personnel management.

Head of the Organization Commission of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee Xisay Ludetmounsone also expressed her gratitude for Hanoi's support to Lao localities, especially in training personnel and supporting the construction of facilities in Laos.

Speaking at the end of the working session, Secretary of the Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung affirmed that the Hanoi Party Committee is ready to share and exchange experiences with the Organization Board of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and localities of Laos in the Party building process. On the basis of the general regulations of the Central Committee, the Party Committee of Hanoi also draws up its own regulations, suitable to the characteristics of the locality and Hanoi is ready to share with the Lao side in the near future.

Emphasizing the important significance of the visit and working session of the high-ranking delegation of the Organization Committee of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party with the Party Committee of Hanoi, Secretary of the Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung affirmed that the Party Committee, authorities and the people of Hanoi will do their best to constantly strengthen and cultivate the special friendship relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
