Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh attended and presented Party Badges to veteran Party members.
On this occasion, the Long Bien district Party Committee has 258 Party members honored to receive the Party Badge. At the ceremony, there were 2 comrades who received the 75-year Party membership badge; 2 comrades received the 70-year Party membership badge; 2 comrades received the 65-year Party membership badge; 10 comrades received the 60-year Party membership badge. Some elderly Party members, due to their advanced age and infirmity, received the Party Badge from the Long Bien District Party Committee in their families.
Presenting the Party insignia of 75 and 70 years to veteran Party members, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that today's Party badge awarding ceremony was held on the 105th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 - November 7, 2022). The awarding of the Party badge shows the recognition and gratitude of the Party, the State and the people for the contributions and dedication of senior Party members in the Party's revolutionary cause, the cause of the struggle for national liberation and national independence of the Vietnamese socialist Fatherland.
“Receiving Party Badge today is an honor and pride not only for individual party members, but also for the joy and pride of the entire Hanoi Party Committee in general and the Party Committee of Long Bien district in particular. All senior party members here are a beautiful symbol of the quality and mettle of a communist soldier who, in any working position, in any environment, has successfully completed all the tasks assigned by the Party and the Fatherland; despite their advanced age, they still actively participate in local activities, leading by example in many fields; making an important contribution to the successful completion of political, socio-economic tasks and maintaining stability, security and order of Long Bien district; contributing to the common achievements that the Party Committee, the government and the people of the capital have achieved in recent years," emphasized Thanh.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of senior cadres and party members.
Thanh called for all senior party members to promote their revolutionary moral qualities and actively encourage children and grandchildren to well observe the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; participate in Party building work, local government building; fostering and educating the revolutionary tradition for the young generation.
Thanh said that 2022 is the pivotal year to implement the Resolution of Party congresses at all levels, Resolution of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee. In the 9 months of 2022, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with determination, solidarity and responsibility, the Hanoi Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of political tasks and achieving very important results. Among those common achievements, there is an important contribution of the Party Committee, government and people of Long Bien district.
