Accordingly, the district asked communes, towns to strengthen inspection, supervision on transportation of poultry; strictly ban trade, slaughter of poultry with unknown origin; sign commitments on requiring households to obey regulations of law in business; strictly handle deliberate violation cases; tightly monitor and timely detect the first infected case; mobilize maximum resources and synchronously implement solutions to prevent diseases and avoid outbreaks; direct radio systems of communes, towns to enhance communication on dangers of avian flu A/H7N9 to farmers so that they proactively cooperate with authorities in disease prevention and control; organize mass vaccination campaigns for all poultry herds; handle households who do not implement vaccination as stipulated by law; encourage all forces, people to clean roads, widen sewers and collect waste so as to ensure environmental sanitation; implement disinfection in high risk areas, such as: landfills, markets, farming zones, etc; strictly give information and report on disease situation.
In cases diseases occur, communes, towns are responsible for timely establishing Steering Boards for Disease Prevention as stipulated by law; directing and assigning specific tasks to members of Steering Boards; urging members to deploy measures to prevent diseases in accordance with guidelines of the veterinary sector.
