According to Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Viet, during the youth month 2017, Youth Unions at all levels have brought into full play youth’s role, responsibility, potential, creativity for socio-economic development in localities;  well implemented four key contents, including: performing the Year of Administrative Discipline; communication on ensuring urban order, civilization; startups for the youth; giving guidelines on organizing Congresses of Youth Associations at all levels.

In particular, the Municipal Youth Union organized a series of activities to mark the 86th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and honor excellent secretaries of youth unions across the Capital, such as: the 57th technical festival of health youth; training course on “Preventing harassment and sexual abuse of children”; the festival “Reforming administrative procedures”, etc.

According to a report, in the youth month, youth unions at all levels implemented 1,250 works effectively; mobilized over 200 voluntary teams, youths of state administrative agencies to give guidelines on solving administrative procedures for 30,300 turns of people every Saturday; enrolled 22,164 new party’s members and introduced 3,308 elite members to the Party Committee for its enrollment consideration, etc; launched voluntary blood donation programs and received 14,627 units of safe blood; jointly provided free health checkups, medicines for nearly 4,900 people, etc.

On the occasion, the Ha Noi Youth Union praised 27 typical squads, models, works in the youth month 2017 as well as organized a walking program, contest of communication banners under the theme “the Capital Youth joins hands to build a green - civilized - modern Ha Noi”.
