Ha Noi to create favorable condition for activities of Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (North) (06:31 06/04/2017)
At the reception, Chairman Chung informed the guests about the city’s socio-economic development in recent time, adding that Ha Noi is accelerating the progress of e-government building and providing online public services online. Social security and social welfare of the city were basically guaranteed, political and social stability was ensured.
In the process of integration, the city always highly appreciates the contributions of the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (North), especially in humanitarian aid to the poor, he added.
He expressed his hope that Protestant pastors, dignitaries and followers will remain united and foster local development.
The city authority is ready to facilitate religious followers’ practicing their religions and contributing to the city’s development and provide the best possible conditions for the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (North) to conduct activities in 2017, including the ceremony marking 500 years of the Protestant Reformation, he added.
For his part, Pastor Hanmond said he was impressed with the city’s development in recent years, stressing that Church would support the city’s activities in the upcoming time.
On the occasion, he conveyed the invitation of Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham to Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung to visit the US in 2017.
Chairman Chung expressed his sincere thank and promised to visit the headquarters of Samaritan’s Purse at an appropriate time.
