Step 1: The organizations applying for granting, amending, supplementing and extending the license shall submit the dossier at the One-Stop-Shop of the Department for Foreign Affair (one (01) working day).

Step 2: Specialized divisions evaluate the dossier and send documents to suggest the relevant functional units to give opinions (three (03) working days).

Step 3: The Department for Foreign Affair aggregates the opinions of the relevant functional units (eight (08) working days).

Step 4: Based on the opinions of functional units, the Department for Foreign Affairs considers and submit the dossier to the leaders of the Ha Noi People’s Committee for approving and signing Decision on granting, amending, supplementing and extending the license (two (02) working days).

Step 5: Leaders of the Ha Noi People’s Committee consider the dossier, sign the Decision and sent the outcome to Department for Foreign Affair (five (05) working days).

Step 6: One-Stop-Shop receives the outcome and send it to organizations and archive it as prescribed (one (01) working day).

* Contents of the dossier:

1. Granting license of Association of Foreign Enterprises:

- An application for the License to establish the association (one in Vietnamese and another in a commonly used foreign language);

- The operation status of the association;

- A written recommendation from Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

- Documents about the working office of the association;

- Curricula vitae of the members of the leading board of the association;

- List of representatives of businesses to join the association;

- Operation plan of the Association.

2. Amending, supplementing and extending the permit of Association of Foreign Enterprises (submitting dossier three (03) months before the expiry date)

- An application for amending, supplementing and extending the operation permit (one in Vietnamese and another in a commonly used foreign language);

- Copies of Operation Permit and decisions on amending, supplementing and extending the operation permit;

- Information on the content to be extended, amended and / or supplemented;

- Operation report of the Association;
