Procedure Extension of the Cambodia – Laos - Viet Nam Cross-border Transport Permit and expiry date of Cambodian and Laos vehicles in Viet Nam.
Process

a) Submission of dossier


+ Submitting dossier at the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) of the Ha Noi Department of Transport.


b) Handling of dossier


The Department of Transport receives and checks the submitted dossier. If the submitted dossier is not completed or invalid, the department must reply the applicants in writing and clearly state the reasons.


Within 01 (one) working day after receiving the complete and valid dossier, the Department of Transport will hand over the extended Cambodia – Laos – Viet Nam Cross-border Transport Permit to organization/individual; In case of refusal to extend permits, the department must reply the applicant in writing and clearly state the reasons.

- Application for extending of Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Cross-Border Transport Permit

Other requirements For Cambodian and Laos vehicles have legitimate reasons (natural disasters, traffic accidents, damaged means that cannot be repaired in Vietnam) will be extended 01 (one) time to a period not exceeding 10 (ten) days from the expiry date.

- Circular No. 60/2015/TT-BGTVT dated November 2, 2015 of the Ministry of Transport amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Transport’s Circular No. 63/2014/TT-BGTVT dated November 7, 2014, on provision and management of by-car transport services and road transport support services.


- Circular No. 188/2016/TT-BTC dated November 8, 2016 of the Ministry of Finance regulating collection rates and procedure, payment, management and use of fees and charges of driving examination; issuance fees of driving license, operation certificate and fees of registration, granting plate of special-use vehicles.


- Decision No. 52/2016/QD-UBND dated December 28, 2016 of the Ha Noi People’s Committee, pursuant to the Decisions on the collection of charges and fees issued by the Ha Noi People’s Committee in accordance with Ordinance on Charges and Fees and implementing documents.


- Resolution No 20/2016/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2016 of the Ha Noi People’s Council on issuing a number of regulations on the collection of charges and fees in Ha Noi under the decision of the Ha Noi People’s Council.
