1. West Lake Park

The West Lake Park is complex in Tay Ho District. Founded in 2000, it covers total area of 8.1 hectares, and consist of two park: a water park and an amusement park.
Located inside West Lake Park, the water park is a modern entertainment complex with water attractions like pools, slides and a lazy river. It was founded in 2000, and has total area of around 3.5 hectares. It is open from April until November and is closed on Tuesdays. This is a popular destination for Hanoians as well as tourists.
The amusement park has fifteen different attractions and a games zone. There are a rollercoaster, pirate ship, UFO, Crazy Wave and a 60 meter high Ferris wheel. Small kids can take part in other activities, such as carts driving, house of bubbles and bumping cars.
2. Vinpearl Land Water Park (Royal City)

This is the first and so far the only indoor water park of Viet Nam. Located underground Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, the park offers a number of activities with the twisted tube slide, superfast tube slide, super highway slopes, diving pool, wave pool, surf pool, and sports pool. This is the ideal destination if you’re looking to have a family day out. It takes around 20 minutes to travel from the Old Quarter to the water park by taxi.

This is no doubt one of the most significant activities for tourists when they visit Ha Noi. A water puppet show is accompanied by a Vietnamese orchestra playing traditional music like drums, wooden bells, horns, bamboo flutes and cymbals. The Vietnamese operatic songs telling the story that is being acted out by the puppets. The live music plays an integral part of the performance. The show takes place in a pool of water; this is stage for the puppets which are controlled by no more than eight puppeteers hiding behind a bamboo screen.
A water puppet show is highly recommended when you visit Ha Noi. It is advisable to pay more to get closer to the stage and have better view, as the puppets are not big.
4. Ionah Show
Introduced for the first time in 2015 in Ha Noi, Ionah show is an art entertainment program which combines music, circus art, choreography, acting and visual effect perfectly, with world class theatrical technology.
In around 75 minutes of the show, you will embrace a beautiful Ha Noi's modernism on stage. As a perfect mixture of the classic and the modern, the show depicts a Viet Nam love story, with insights into the life and culture of capital city. There are no language requirements; it is suitable for every one, even children, as the storyline is quite easy to follow through the vibrant dance performance.
The unique and sophisticated costume of the characters in Ionah show always amaze visitors, especially children. Each of characters in the show has his/her own portrayal and costumes to create an excellent visual impression.
5. Visit AEON Mall

Located about eight kilometers east of Old Quarter, Aeon Mall Hanoi is a Japanese-owned shopping mall in Long Bien District. The four-storey venue offers over 100 retail outlets and a wide variety of family-friendly entertainment activities, attracting a large number of locals as well as tourists.
There are plenty of dining options here, for example fast food, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and western food. Visitors can go shopping, enjoy a round of bowling, catch the latest films at the cinema on the fourth floor, or go to the Dream Games arcade and Tiniworld indoor playground if they are going with small children.
