The city will focus on developing qualified, professional, proficiency labor resources who have good moral character, professional style to meet the needs of production and business.
According to the plan, Ha Noi will strive to reach the proportion of trained workers from 57-62 percent in 2017, 62-66 percent in 2018, 66-70 percent in 2019 and to 70-75 percent in 2020.
To achive the above targets, it’s necessary to:
- Continue to promote the dissemination of guidelines and policies of the Party and State's laws on vocational education; the importance of vocational training
and the role of vocational training to find jobs;
- Strengthen state management for education institutions, namely increasing inspect the capacity of training institutions, the enrollment work, training and job creation for graduated students;
- Review, organize, and re-plan the network of professional education institutions in the city in line with the Law on Vocational education and oriented socio-economic development of the city; focusing on quality, improving training effectiveness;
- Invest in facilities, equipment, promote information technology applications, technology and technical sciences in modern training, ensuring the capacity and scale of training.
The city will invest in building three high quality public vocational colleges with qualifications equivalent to international schools; step up the socialization of education and training; strengthen investment resource mobilization from enterprises and other investors to increase the number of trained workers.
