The Plan aims at supporting the craft villages in Ha Noi to build and develop their trademarks to improve the competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets in line with conditions of international economic integration; creating favorable ways for trade villages in Ha Noi to preserve and develop their brand names; generate jobs; raise income; transform economic structure in rural areas; and uphold traditional culture.
The Municipal People’s Committee urged local trade village to join the plan and take action to build brand names, making positive changes in both awareness and action of the villages; popularize preferential policies relating to supporting and advertising the craft villages’ brands in the area.
It is scheduled that the capital city will organize training courses to enrich knowledge and skills on building and introducing brands for 10 villages; set up trademarks and design logos and brand identification systems for the village; consult the building and development of the villages’ brands.
All villages recognized their crafts by the Municipal People’s Committee will receive registration records of the Program “Supporting craft villages to build their own brands” funded by the city’s budget.
With the total capital of VND 3 billion assigned at the Decision No. 2833/QD-UBND dated May 17, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee on arranging funds for the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program in Ha Noi in 2017, the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center will take prime responsibility and cooperate with relevant units to implement the Plan in 2017.
