Accordingly, the industrial cluster will cover 9.885 hectares. It aims at boosting the socio-economic development of Thanh Tri suburban district; creating a legal basis for the management and construction of works in the planned area; contributing to enhancing the socio-economic development towards industrialization and modernization and creating new jobs for local laborers.
Its major function is to promote industrial and handicraft development, such as iron, steel, aluminum, glass, garment, electrical equipments, etc.
The People Committee of Thanh Tri suburban district will be responsible for state management of the cluster according to Article 44 of Decree No. 68/2017/ND-CP dated May 25, 2017 of the Government on management and development of industrial clusters.
The Department of Industry and Trade will be in charge of advising the Municipal People’s Committee to perform the state management according to Article 16 of Circular No. 15/2017/TT-BCT dated August 31, 2017 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Article 43 of Decree No. No. 68/2017/ND-CP dated May 25, 2017 of the Government on management and development of industrial clusters.
