Implementing the program on market stability for essential commodities (16:16 26/07/2017)

HNP – The Ha Noi People’s Committee promulgated the Plan No. 145/KH-UBND on June 19, deploying a program on price stability for essential commodities in the capital city in 2017.

Accordingly, commodity groups in the price stability programs in 2017 include: essential foods (rice, dry noodle); meat and poultry, seafood, eggs, processed foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, sugar, cooking oil, spices (fish sauce, salt, seasoning), milk (milk powder, yogurt); other items which have high demand during Lunar New Year Festival, great holidays  (jam, candy, wine, beer, soft drink), commodity to serve the Tet demand, such as: confectionery, wine, beer, soft drinks, etc.
In addition, the capital city will strive to meet needs for foods of the entire city, including: 1,000,000 tons of meat per year; about 240,000 tons of pork per year; 62,600 tons of poultry per year; 60,600 tons of fresh and frozen seafood per year; about 5,050 tons of processed foods form animal meat and poultry per year; over 72,000,000 liters of cooking oil per year; 1,000,000 tons of vegetables and bulbs per year; 1,136,000,000 eggs per year.
Similarly, Ha Noi will also prepare a list of other commodities, such as: milk, spices, sugar, candy, alcohol, beers, beverages, etc for the price stability programs so as to meet the demands of local people.
