Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to develop human resources (16:55 7/12/2015)

HNP - The Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan signed Decision No. 6593/QD-UBND on December 1, approving plan for developing human resources in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from 2016 to 2020.

The plan aims to help SMEs increase competitiveness, particularly by supporting training and human resources development, overcoming shortage of skills, knowledge and information, and promoting their development in quality and quantity. That is expected to contribute to city’s socio-economic development from 2016 to 2020.

 

Accordingly, the plan includes following activities:

 

- Program for supporting training and developing human resources in SMEs in Ha Noi, including 50 business start-up courses for 8,000 people, 200 business administration courses for 24,000 people; expenses for the training are mobilized from city state budget;

- Training program for chief executive officer (CEO) in Ha Noi, including 40 courses for 1,000 people; 65% of total expenses are mobilized from city state budget;

- Two surveys on status and demand of training, human resources development for SMEs in Ha Noi; all expenses are mobilized from city state budget.

 

Furthermore, the Authority of Plan and Investment asks Supporting Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to organize short-term courses for chief executive officers, courses on business startup and business administration for the period of 2016 to 2020 according to regulations.

 

Based on training plan from 2016 to 2020 approved by the Municipal People’s Committee and annual plan developed by Authority of Plan and Investment, the Department of Finance reviews and allocates funds from city’s state budget according current regulations.
