Investment, trade and tourism promotion program in 2017 (16:38 25/04/2017)


HNP – To promote the image of Ha Noi as a green, elegant, civilized and modern metropolis, a dynamic and competitive city of the country and the region, a city with excellent working, living and recreation conditions and favorable investment environment, the Ha Noi People’s Committee has recently promulgated Program No. 80/CTr-UBND on investment, trade and tourism promotion in 2017.


Accordingly, the key task of investment promotion field is improving policies on attracting investment, focusing on calling for large-scale projects with high value added, modern and environment friendly technology.

Special attention is paid to: Comprehensively develop and gradually synchronize urban and rural infrastructure to create modern and civilized city, in particular development of road system, projects on electrical, communications infrastructure, science –technology and information technology, projects on urban services like parks and trees, attraction of investment in Nhat Tan-Noi Bai project and satellite towns, etc; Proactively implement administration reform programs on investment and enterprise registration, striving to have 80% of enterprise registration dossiers processed online; give feedback and opinion on projects on amending Law on Investment, Law on Enterprises towards reducing time to process, creating favorable conditions for investors and enterprises; Increase effort to call for private sector’s investment in new projects and PPP projects, striving to attract over US$ 3 billion of foreign investment in 2017.

The key task of trade promotion field is maintaining and developing domestic market, focusing on following activities: Organize programs and events to promote consumption and increase total circulation of goods, service revenues and total retails, thus meeting the target; Increase the links with cities and provinces nationwide; support the establishment of distribution channels of Vietnamese products in cities and provinces; attract high-quality goods to Ha Noi’s market to satisfy the market's demand; Help enterprises to ease difficulties, improve quality as well as design of products, access new technology according to tastes of consumers in Viet Nam and abroad, and find output to promote consumption of the products; help enterprises to access Vietnamese consumers, contributing to promoting the Vietnamese People Use Vietnamese Products campaign; encourage building of retail chain of clean agricultural products  in Ha Noi.

The key task of tourism promotion field is:  Build and launch popularization strategies in Viet Nam and overseas to promote tourism, and apply information technology system in state management of tourism; Closely cooperate with diplomatic representatives, international organizations in Ha Noi and Vietnamese embassies abroad, communications agencies, airlines, travel agencies in Viet Nam and worldwide to increase links, promote tourism, exploit and develop tourism market, and connect with international enterprises and organizations;  Offer famtrips for international delegations, press agencies and correspondents, such as from Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, India, Western Europe and ASEAN countries.
