Concrete measures to fulfill targets of Program 04-CTr/TU (14:29 16/08/2019)

HNP - The Steering Committee for Program 04-CTr/TU (the Steering Committee) on August 12 released Announcement No. 945-TB/BCD on conclusions of Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Municipal People’s Council, and Head of the Steering Committee at the conference on reviewing the implementation of the program “Socio-economic development, improving the quality of the capital’s human resources, building civilized and elegant Hanoians” in the first half of 2019, and roll out key  missions in the reminder of the year.

Accordingly, in the first half of the year, all-level Party Committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, political organizations and Steering Committees have focused on guiding the implementation of the program.

Meanwhile, departments and sectors have strictly carried out the assigned missions and gained remarkable achievements.

Notably, many international events have been organized successfully; the two codes of conduct have been deployed widely among public servants and people.

Furthermore, the city has taken care of revolutionary veterans; implemented fully policies for social protection and sustainable poverty reduction; put diseases under control; tightened food safety; among others.

However, there have been still some shortcomings during the implementation.

Thus, to remove difficulties, the Steering Committee asked departments, sectors, districts and towns to execute key tasks, as follow:

-  Review targets, offer concrete measures to fulfill all of them.
- Strengthen the communication on the two codes of conduct; establish inspection delegations to monitor the implementation; expand models; assess the outcomes to advise the Municipal Party Committee and People’s Committee on its amendment in the next tenure.

The Department of Education and Training is tasked to give a report on education and quality; elaborate a plan for the next term; finish the building of toilets in schools by the end of the year.
