Accordingly, departments, sectors, People’s Committees of districts, towns, state-owned units and enterprises under the Municipal People’s Committee will strengthen communication, dissemination of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws on anti-corruption; continue carrying out Directive No. 10/CT-TTg dated June 12th, 2013 of the Prime Minister on putting anti-corruption contents into teaching in education establishment from the school year of 2013-2014.
It is necessary to synchronously take various solutions to combat corruption, such as enhancing transparency in agencies, organizations, units in fields of land use, bidding, appointment of officials, civil servants, etc, strengthening administrative reform; publicizing assets and incomes of officials and civil servants; carrying out codes of conduct and professional ethics; build and implement policies, mechanisms, norms and standards; regularly reviewing, amending and supplementing legal documents; making non-cash payment and paying salaries, incomes through accounts.
More effort must be made to continue carrying out directions of the Central, the Municipal Party Committee on receiving citizens and settling complaints and denunciations; timely handling corruption denunciations; enhancing inspection and detecting corruption cases in fields of finance and budget management, land management, environment, management and exploitation of natural resources, construction investment, urban management, and cadre work, etc.
It is important to enhance inspection of carrying out laws on anti-corruption; strictly handle corruption cases; improve morality, discipline, public discipline, awareness and responsibility to serve local people; increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the political system, etc.
