Accordingly, the Standing Board of the Municipal Party Committee requested the Party Board of the Municipal People’s Committee to direct departments, sectors and relevant units to follow the Central’s direction and the city’s reality; focus on synchronously and drastically carrying out targets, missions in Directive No. 10-CT/TU of the Municipal Party Committee and nine mission and solution groups released in the Report; direct the Municipal People’s Committee to collect all recommendations and proposals, and give a report to the Government and competent authorities for consideration, direction and guidance to remove difficulties, problem in ensuring food safety.
The Party Board of the Municipal People’s Council will conduct supervision and explain concerned issues of food safety in the area as regulated.
The Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Communications will take prime responsibility and coordinated with the Municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and relevant units to launch communication campaigns to raise the awareness and action of officials, Party members and people on food safety and hygiene; bring into full play the role of press agencies in detecting and combating food safety violations.
The Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Ha Noi Chapter and social, political organizations will review and realize the implementation of food safety and hygiene in movements and campaigns in line with requirement, missions of localities and units.
Party Committees of districts and towns will enhance leadership and direction to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the state management of local authorities in ensuring food safety and hygiene; identify the assurance of food safety as a key and urgent mission; drastically handle irresponsible officials and, civil servants.
The Department of Health, as a standing agency of the Municipal Steering Committee for Food Safety, will enhance inspection and coordinate with functional agencies to strictly handle violation cases; proactively recommend the Steering Committee to carry out Directive No. 10-CT/TU.
